Many web hosts claim they offer 99.9% uptime. But do they really offer that?

Did you know that if the monthly server uptime goes below a specified value (this can be 99.8% or 99.7%) you can receive your money back? Check the terms and conditions, you will find this fact specified there.

So it is time to verify it yourself. You can find the real uptime very easy by using a server monitoring service. You will be surprised to see that in one month your website was offline for 1 hour or even more!

Hopefully your hosting provider has good uptime and there is no need for headaches but better check it out to be sure.
